Great start. Write a lovely newsy post and it gets eaten.

So i'll start again - welcome to 2012. I've been slowly dragging myself out of holiday mode, and prompted by a slew of emails in regards to memberships and the Junior Enduro dates, i thought i'd better make some updates.

Memberships: are now due. Membership runs from 1/1/2012 through to 31/12/2012

Membership forms are now available for download on the membership page here.

Membership prices have been reduced for 2012. new / renewal single $20 family $30

Direct deposit details can be found on the membership form. Please use your surname as a reference and print a copy of the deposit record to be posted with your completed membership form.

If emailing membership, a screen capture of the deposit receipt must be emailed with your completed membership form If emailing membership form / payment, please do so to the following address: holbrookmcsc@gmail.com

If looking for a fast turn around on memberships, please post to the following address.: Angela Cook (HMCSC Memberships) 'Gull Foss Springs" 404 Jingellic Rd, Holbrook, NSW, 2644.

As membership Sec. i don't have access to the Club's mailbox, and if memberships are posted to the Club PO box i will only get the membership mail once a month at Club meetings. Means you will generally get your stuff back a couple of weeks after you post it.

Junior Enduro: The dates have been posted on the MNSW calendar since the new year. For those that haven't found them there they are as follows (taken from the MNSW calendar and subject to change - please contact the hosting club to confirm dates and venues)

Results for last weekends Holbrook 6Hr, and the Wanabrook MX round held the weekend before are now up on the Seasons Results page.

A small but enthusiastic group enjoyed the beautiful spring weather of Victoria's Upper Murray for the 2011 6hr Enduro. Thanks to all who attended.

There's an album of photos by Hammer / Richard Baumhammer in the Photo Gallery, with a few more to come from other contributors. Thanks Hammer, the photos are great and much appreciated!

6hr Update - 'Belmay' 15th & 16th October

*** Friday 14th Update: There's been no rain this week, and the forecast drizzle on the weekend doesn't look like it will eventuate. Just in case though, make sure all wet weathergear is carried. If it's anything like last year though, sun hats and sunscreen will end up being the order of the day.

Access via the Mt. Alfred Rd via the Murray River Rd is open, please take it easy on the gravel, close all gates found closed, and follow the signs in regards to where the parking / camping / pits maybe as they may be changed from previous years.

Saturday night is self catering, we've had some problems with the booked caterers pulling out for the Sunday, but the club will organise a BBQ breakfast / lunch etc. so you don't starve. If you're looking for a particular brand of sports drink or sweet treat, may be best to bring your own as we'll be limited as to what supplies we can rustle up on short notice.

St. John's ambo's will be in attendance. ***

No pre-entry this year. Entries will be taken on the Saturday as you arrive.

Entry Fee: $45

Club Membership: $10 (reduced price, gets you up to Dec 31st 2011)

Licence: MA or OEL $50 (will be available on the day)

Final round of the 2011 Wanabrook MX series has been run and won at Holbrook over the weekend. Results will go up as soon as they are in from the MX series collator

***UPDATE Thurs. 8 Sept. We've not heard anything from Wagga, and they are still advertising the event as going ahead on their website and Facebook page, so we assume it's going ahead. Fingers crossed for a clear and sunny day! ***
